Floor Coatings

This durable, light reflective epoxy coating installation consists of a primer and two coats, applied on 19 year old concrete after surface preparation and repairs. Its compressive strength exceeds 8,000 psi – more than twice that of the substrate. TECHCOAT floor coatings, epoxy flooring, concrete coatings and floor sealers are installed with attention to detail. The result is a high quality installation and long term performance.

Floor Recoating

Frequently, existing concrete coatings, floor sealers and epoxy flooring materials are well adhered, but worn or damaged by years of traffic and production. At TECHCOAT, we specialize in renovating existing industrial flooring cost-effectively. The original floor coating in this photo (foreground) is renewed with a special primer and high build epoxy coating, after surface preparation and repairs. All traffic aisles at this facility were completed on two weekends to avoid downtime. Work completed on Sunday is ready for use Monday morning.

Renovations

TECHCOAT specializes in renovations of older industrial facilities. We remove old concrete coatings, floor tile or other flooring materials. We then make all necessary floor repairs and install a variety of high performance epoxy coating systems. This new TECHCOAT floor replaced a worn out thin film floor sealer in this 24 year old building. Aggregate reinforced for durability, the finish is lightly textured for safety and exposure to cutting oils and pallet jack traffic. Benefits include greatly increased cleanablity and light reflectivity.
